What’s the problem?
Our client was using part manual and part digital workflow to manage the day to day cash that was collected out of the 60 outlets available across different locations. They had difficulties in tracking the pending cash collections and had to rely on the individual cash collectors to update the system. They faced the problem of inconsistency and delay in the payment settlement form individual cash collectors.

How did analyze the problem?
We understood our client’s current workflow by being on ground along with the cash collector and analyzing the way their task is recorded. We were taken across different routes to understand their working conditions. We could see that only 10% of their work were digitized and every person on field were struggling to feed those paper records.

With all the knowledge of their working, we proposed a fool proof and user friendly mobile application to replace the papers and the front desk was provided with web application to keep a real time track of the cash collected.
